In the latest drama to hit the joint venture club, the Tigers posted a pre-match press conference on their site over the weekend without carrying 'grabs' from Farah in which he backed Potter.
Farah's comments came amid reports the coach faced the sack.
The full video was eventually published on the Wests Tigers site but not before details of the select editing were aired on Channel 9.
Faced with a fresh barrage of criticism from fans already angered over the club's handling of the Potter situation, Mayer took to the Twitter to accept blame for the video slice and dice.
Video edit was a mistake. I wear that as the CEO ie blame me. It's up in full now. RF and club have stated support for Mick. MNF a priority

@Danny_Weidler @robbiefarah I'm the CEO. Stops with me. Rectified.

But some fans were not prepared to forgive and forget.
@gcmayer are u kidding? With all that is going on, no one thought that Robbie's words were important to fans, members and the media?

The video drama will just add to the tension at the club, with Farah, Potter and Mayer all under the gun.
