Rafael Nadal says he is enjoying himself on court again after easing to victory over Andy Murray at the ATP World Tour Finals on Wednesday.

Nadal cruised to a 6-4 6-1 win against world number two Murray at the O2 Arena in London.

His triumph, combined with Stan Wawrinka winning his match over David Ferrer, was enough to send Nadal through from the round-robin stage to the last four.

Nadal's two wins at the Tour Finals are serving as a positive end to a difficult season in which he failed to reach the semi-finals of a grand slam for the first time since 2004.

"I feel free," Nadal said. "I feel I am enjoying it on court. That doesn't mean I am going to play well in every match.

"That means I am happy. I go day-by0day. I am playing much better, practising very well, practising a lot.

"Then you need results to confirm that. Obviously is an important victory for me and important day.

"But it is just the beginning. I need to keep working so hard to try to keep going the same way."
