Australian tennis player Bernard Tomic has conceded he was to blame for his arrest in Miami earlier this week.
The world number 25 was apprehended on Wednesday and charged with resisting arrest and trespassing after refusing to leave his hotel room.
Tomic was asked on three occasions to turn his music down and when he declined, was asked to leave. His failure to do so resulted in his arrest.
"It was definitely my fault," he told CBS4 News.
"I was asleep on several occasions when they complained at first, but you know, it was just a noise complaint.
"I'm just happy I got out and no one got hurt."
The incident caps a troublesome couple of weeks for Tomic, who criticised Tennis Australia for failing to support him following his exit from Wimbledon.
He also hit out at Davis Cup captain Pat Rafter, an outburst which cost him his place in the team, before his first-round exit to compatriot John-Patrick Smith the ATP Hall of Fame Tennis Championships.
