Tennis players Walter Trusendi and Elie Rousset have been suspended and fined after admitting breaching anti-corruption rules.

The Tennis Integrity United revealed that Italian Trusendi, ranked 425th in the world, has been banned for six months with immediate effect and fined USD $5,000 as a result of activity at an unnamed tournament last year.

Frenchman Rousset is suspended for six months, with half of that sanction suspended subject to good behaviour, and has also been fined USD $5,000 with $2,000 to be stumped up prior to the end of the three month period of ineligibility and the other $3,000 suspended subject to good behaviour.

Rousset's punishment relates to a breach of regulations at the same tournament in 2014.
