The 2011 US Open champion had no issues with Russian opponent Evgeniya Rodina, winning 6-1 6-1 in only 51 minutes to set up a meeting with world No.16 Sara Errani.

But Stosur said her preparation for the match had been far from ideal after a series of organisational mishaps including being forced to take a bus to Flushing Meadows.

"When you are still in the tournament and you try and book a car and they say you can't have one before 10 (o'clock) because you don't have a match, I don't think it's good enough," Stosur said.

"It's not just me. There have been many players in that situation. It's a grand slam. It's one of the biggest tournaments in the world.

When you are still in the tournament and you try and book a car and they say you can't have one, I don't think it's good enough.

The 31-year-old Australian is the last player to beat Serena Williams at Flushing Meadows but was shunted off a practice court to cater for the world No.1.

"(Williams) kicked me off my practice court yesterday, too. A few issues, but it's all right," Stosur said.

"Yeah, I had 45 minutes yesterday. I went on three different courts, so not ideal.

"There is obviously 200-something players here all wanting to practice and doing everything they need to prepare.

"You can only do what you can do. But, yeah, it would be nice to have 45 minutes without interruption."

The series of incidents comes after the scoreboard during Stosur's first-round win over Timea Babos displayed her name as 'Samantha Stososova'.
