The Australian won 6-3 6-2 against Austria's Andreas Haider-Maurer in a little over an hour in a match littered with bizarre moments, according to Fairfax Media.

A cameraman was ejected for consistently talking during points while Kyrgios was audibly heard calling the tournament "an absolute circus" after being frustrated by inexperienced ball boys.

The chair umpire gave Kyrgios a code violation for the outburst.

Kyrgios will now recieve a one-month ban if he slips up again on the ATP tour because of the punishment handed down to him for the Stan Wawrinka sledging saga.

A meeting against in-form Japanese star Kei Nishikori awaits Kyrgios in the Chinese tournament's third round.

Fellow Australian Bernard Tomic looks to be hitting his straps after brushing past Spain's Fernando Verdasco 6-3 7-6.

Tomic will now face Spain's David Ferrer in the next round.
