Kyrgios’ horror hairdo takes centre court

Kyrgios

Kyrgios won the first two sets 6-0 6-2 before Schwartzman took the third to a tie-break.

Kyrgios eventually prevailed 7-6 in the tie-break to set up a second round match with Juan Monaco or Florian Mayer.

“I played really well in the first two sets but he got used to the grass and started playing more free so he made me work for it,” said Kyrgios afterwards.

“I’m gonna gain so much conf out of that third set. He was holding serve in the tie break and I got a mini break at the end and started playing some pretty good tennis.”

While Kyrgios played with his patented flair and aggression, it was his hair that really took centre stage.

Going with the white at Wimbledon tradition, the well-supported Aussie had a blonde streak that had social media talking. And not in a good way.

We had a decent search through Twitter and couldn’t find a single positive comment.
