His first round match-up at Flushing Meadows with Andy Murray was no exception, with the entertaining Aussie showing glimpses of his undoubted talent against the third-ranked Brit.
After going down in the first set 7-5, Kyrgios decided it would be an appropriate time to take a nap.
However, the theatrics didn’t stop there for the young Aussie, who had his racquet slip from his grasp early in the second set thanks to the high humidity in New York City.
