Casey Dellacqua has stepped in for Samantha Stosur in her two scheduled Fed Cup singles rubbers in Australia's tie with Netherlands.
World number 25 Stosur had been due to take on Arantxa Rus and Kiki Bertens in the World Cup playoff in Hertogenbosch but the former US Open champion has aggravated an Achilles injury.
Her place will now be taken by world number 44 Dellacqua as Australia bid to make sure of their place in the World Group for next year.
Dellacqua will also take part in the doubles rubber with Jarmila Gajdosova against Richel Hogenkamp and Michaella Krajicek.
