Day 3: Your guide to riches at the US Open

Agnieszka Radwanska

Odds according to Luxbet.com

Peng Shuai ($6.15) vs Agnieszka Radwanska ($1.12)

Suggested bet: Peng at a games handicap of +5.5 ($2.05)

Peng has the weapons to threaten Radwanska - she beat her at the US Open in 2010 - and all four of their career meetings have been competitive three-setters. Despite Radwanska's rampant first up win, I'm tipping the Chinese can get close if not all the way over the line. Five games up the sleeve is quite a handy handicap.

Daniela Hantuchova ($3.30) vs Alize Cornet ($1.33)

Suggested bet: Hantuchova at a games handicap of +4.5 ($1.87)

Hantuchova brought no form into the US Open, but got through her first round unscathed. She has beaten Cornet four times in a row, although their last meeting was 2012. With 30-degree heat predicted for New York, that comes as a disadvantage to the French favourite - who has battled the elements in the past. Cornet will take some solace from being first on court at 11am however. All that said, Hantuchova should be capable of running it close.

Lukas Lacko ($2.40) vs Dominic Thiem ($1.57)

Suggested bet: Lacko head-to-head

Like the odds here. Lacko comes in with some handy wins in the US swing, upsetting Denis Istomin and Lu Yen-hsun, and also taking a set off Kei Nishikori. Thiem's season, conversely, has hit the skids after a promising start, and has losses to Gilles Simon and Robby Ginepri to his name in recent weeks.
