The Czech world number 63 was ousted in the US Open second round by countrywoman Petra Kvitova, but will be chasing her maiden career WTA title at the hard-court event in Suzhou, China.

The WTA 125K-level event will see six different countries represented in the seedings, with Belgium's Yanina Wickmayer headlining the bottom half of the draw.

The 65th-ranked Jana Cepelova, of Slovakia, is seeded third, while France's Pauline Parmentier will take the fourth seeding.

Wickmayer was beaten by Belinda Bencic in the first round in New York, while Cepelova fell to second seed Simona Halep in the second round and Parmentier was a first-round loser to Kaia Kanepi at Flushing Meadows.

Rounding out the seedings are Belgian Alison Van Uytvanck (five), Austria's Patricia Mayr-Achleitner (six), Japan's Misaki Doi (seven) and Czech Kristyna Pliskova.

Doi threatened to cause a big upset at the US Open, going down gamely to two-time major winner Victoria Azarenka in three sets in their first-round affair.

Thai Luksika Kumkhum and Germany's Anna-Lena Friedsam are also set to be in the field in China.

Israel's Shahar Peer won the inaugural event in 2013.
