The pair, along with Hurricanes halfback TJ Perenara and prop Jeff Toomaga-Allen and Crusaders lock Dominic Bird and loose forward Matt Todd, have all signed on until the end of 2016.

Three players – Blues props Tony Woodcock and Charlie Faumuina and Crusaders utility back Tom Taylor – have all re-signed until the end of 2015.

"It's great news for the All Blacks and New Zealand rugby, especially with a large number of talented, young players re-committing to the country.  It bodes well for the future," said All Blacks head coach Steve Hansen.

The nine join a host of key All Blacks, including Kieran Read, Israel Dagg, Ben Smith, Aaron Cruden, captain Richie McCaw, Brodie Retallick, Ma'a Nonu and returning midfielder Sonny Bill Williams who are signed on until the end 2015 or beyond.
