Rosol through before rain stops play in Kitzbuhel

The start of Wednesday's action at the ATP 250 clay-court competition was delayed because of inclement conditions, before two matches were completed.

Third seed Lukas Rosol came through 6-3 7-6 (7-4) against Austrian Andreas Haider-Maurer to book a third-round meeting with Maximo Gonzalez of Argentina - who beat Albert Ramos.

But with the likes of defending champion Marcel Granollers and top seed Philipp Kohlschreiber due to play later on Wednesday, more rain set in to end the action early.

A post on the tournament's official Facebook page read: "It is still raining, so unfortunately there won't be any [more] matches today!

"We apologise for any inconvenience and hope for... better weather tomorrow."
