Australian teenager Bernard Tomic has risen to a career high 34 in the latest ATP Tour rankings released on Monday.
Tomic, who made it to the fourth round of the Australian Open before being knocked out by 16-time Grand Slam winner Roger Federer, rose four places in the recent rankings, while compatriots Matthew Ebden and Lleyton Hewitt were also rewarded for their recent good form.
Ebden moved up nine places to number 85, while Hewitt rose a massive 50 spots to 131.
Fellow Australian James Duckworth, who gave Serbian Janko Tipsarevic a scare in the second round of the Australian Open, was another big mover, with the 20-year-old shooting up 45 places to a ranking of 205.
There was no change at the top of the men's rankings, with Novak Djokovic still well out in front of Spaniard Rafael Nadal, Federer and Scot Andy Murray.
There was an old face back in the top 10, however, with 2009 US Open winner Juan Martin Del Potro moving up one place to 10th for the first time since September 2010 at the expense of Spaniard Nicolas Almagro.
Victoria Azarenka's triumph at Melbourne Park made her the new No.1 in the women's rankings, ahead of Czech Petra Kvitova, Russian Maria Sharapova and Dane Caroline Wozniacki.
Australia's Samantha Stosur remains in the No.5 spot despite falling to Romanian Sorana Cirstea in the first round in Melbourne.
