Open GDF Suez champion Mona Barthel has climbed to 28th in the world in the latest release of the WTA Tour rankings on Monday.
Barthel won her second career title on the women's tour when she beat top seed Sara Errani in two tight sets in Paris.
As a consequence, the 22-year-old's ranking ballooned 17 spots up from world number 45.
Maria Kirilenko, who took out the PTT Pattaya Open on Sunday, moved up two places to world number 13.
Kirilenko defeated Germany's Sabine Lisicki in the final in Pattaya City, winning a third-set tie-breaker to top an undulating contest.
Lisicki's runner-up effort was not without reward, though, as she climbed 12 spots to number 40.
The top 10 remained unchanged, with Victoria Azarenka, Serena Williams, Maria Sharapova, Agnieszka Radwanska and Li Na occupying the top-five spots.
Other significant climbers in the top-100 included: Kiki Bertens (up 15 to world number 50), Magdalena Rybarikova (up eight to 55), Kristina Mladenovic (up 28 to 69) and Stefanie Voegele (up 11 to 89).
There were no changes to the ATP World Tour rankings due to Davis Cup action over the weekend.
