Hantuchova retains Pattaya Open crown

Slovakian Daniela Hantuchova came from behind to defend her title at the Pattaya Open in Thailand with victory over Maria Kirilenko on Sunday.
Hantuchova lost the first set tie-breaker but rallied to claim her fifth WTA title 6-7 (4-7) 6-3 6-3.
The third seeded Hantuchova served superbly with six aces for the match as well as 69 percent of her first serve points won.
The triumph improved her career record in WTA finals to 5-9 following her win over Tamarine Tanasugarn at the same event last year, while Russian Kirilenko fell to 5-5 and has not won a final since September 2008.
