Roger Federer clinched the World Tennis Tournament title after a straight sets win over Juan Martin del Potro.
The top seed eased to a 6-1 6-4 victory against Argentine del Potro in the final, which lasted just under an hour and a half in Rotterdam.
Swiss Federer, a 16-time Grand Slam champion, dominated and saved all seven break point chances he faced.
The win - Federer's ninth in 11 meetings against del Potro - marked the world number three's 71st ATP Tour title.
Federer had del Potro on the back foot from the outset, racing to a 5-0 lead in the first set before allowing his opponent to get on the board.
World number 10 and 2009 US Open champion del Potro fought hard in the second, but Federer took the crucial break of serve in the fifth game.
After del Potro failed to capitalise on several break back opportunities in the eighth game of the second set, Federer saw out the win.
Federer has now won at least one ATP title in each of the last 12 years.
Meanwhile, Spaniard Nicolas Almagro won his 11th career title on clay by claiming the Brasil Open in Sao Paulo.
Almagro served 18 aces in the 6-3 4-6 6-4 victory over Italy's Filippo Volandri to defend the crown he won last year.
