Croatian Marin Cilic has won his third PBZ Zagreb Indoors title, cruising to a 6-3 6-1 victory over Jurgen Melzer in Sunday's final.

The world number 12 made light work of his Austrian opponent, bringing up victory in just 67 minutes to add to his previous Zagreb wins in 2009 and 2010.

In doing so, Cilic improved his head-to-head record over Melzer to 7-2 and moved to a 9-2 mark for the season, with his only losses coming to Benoit Paire in Chennai and Andreas Seppi at the Australian Open.

Cilic was on top from the outset in Zagreb, winning 80 percent of points on his first serve as well as 80 percent on his second ball as Melzer failed to bring up a break point.

It was a similar story in the second set, with Cilic breaking his opponent three times and winning 13 of 16 points on serve to register a straightforward win at the ATP 250 event, and give him his ninth ATP Tour title.
