Super Rugby Preview: Waratahs v Western Force

The Waratahs and Western Force meet in Round 2 of the Super Rugby season at Allianz Stadium on Saturday night.

What: NSW Waratahs v Western Force
When: Sunday, February 23 – 4:05pm (AEST)
Where: Allianz Stadium

I can watch it on: Fox Sports

Reason to watch: Israel Folau is playing fullback for the Tahs and that means a buzz each and every time he gets the Gilbert in his hands.  It's scary to think how much better this bloke will get. Btw, where are the rugby 'experts' who 12 months ago who were saying Izzy ain't going to cut it in the 15-man game?

Reason to turn away: The Force finished last among the Australian teams in 2013 and were the competition's lowest try-scorers. Unless they have improved out of sight, you may well be headed for one of Paddington's excellent pubs to forget you ever paid to watch this.

Look out for: So good he was named twice, the exciting Alofa Alofa will debut on the Waratahs' right wing. Nick Phipps becomes the fourth member of the family to don the sky blue, lining up at half-back. Luke Morahan and Zac Holmes debuting for the Force.

Say what: "We've seen some things we can exploit in the (NSW) backline." – Force half-back Alby Mawthewson

Final instructions: The Tahs have designs on winning the whole shebang this – but it's been that way since they put the Super into rugby. NSW supporters are sick of the talk and want to see something in the trophy cabinet. Step one should be a comfortable win over the mob from the west. NSW by 14
