More: All Blacks squad announced l SBW hammered after selection

Well respected commentator Ken Laban posted the side to twitter after the All Blacks named their 31-man RWC squad on Sunday night.

The team was quickly picked up by social media, posted to the Veitchy on Sport Facebook page and renamed the “Unluggy 15”.

The side contains a couple of players who won the Cup with the ABs last time round, a few Super Rugby titles and a fair amount of form.

Are NZers getting a bit cocky thinking that this team is better than the Wallabies, South Africa or England?

Here’s the team:

1. Nepo Laulala (4 Test caps)
2. Hika Elliot (4)
3. Joe Moody (8)
4. Jeremy Thrush (12)
5. Patrick Tuipulotu (7)
6. Steven Luatua (14)
7. Matt Todd (3)
8. Ardie Savea (0)
9. Andy Ellis (28)
10. Lima Sopoaga (1)
11. Charles Piutau (17)
12. Charlie Ngatai (1 – NZ Maori captain)
13. Ryan Crotty (15)
14. Cory Jane (55)
15. Israel Dagg (49)

Honourable mention to Stephen Donald, who is back in NZ playing ITM Cup. He’s played for the ABs 23-times and kicked the winning penalty in the RWC final against France in 2011.
