The All Blacks came face-to-face with Tonga at St James’ Park in Newcastle, and the challenge was thrown down by both sides even before kick-off.
Both the All Blacks and Tonga performed their traditional pre-game war dances, and it had the Rugby world on its feet.
Tonga begun the challenge by performing the Sipi Tau before the All Blacks launched into the Haka towards the end of their opponent’s rendition.
The atmosphere was already electric, with the simultaneous war dances setting off a wild roar throughout the crowd.
