The Southern Districts playmaker, who couldn’t break into the Tahs despite three years in Michael Cheika’s squad, spilled the first bomb that came his way in front of a parochial Twickenham crowd, but was all class in setting up new Crusaders teammate Nadolo in the left corner.
Just minutes after Fiji were denied what would have been a brilliant solo try to halfback Nikola Matawalu, Volavola put things to right with this peach of a kick.

He’ll team up with Nadolo for next year’s Super Rugby campaign with eyes on replacing Dan Carter who is heading to France.
