Wallabies

Forty of the forty-eight matches at the 2015 Rugby World Cup have been completed with the pool stage now over.

We take a look at a selection of Opta statistics relating to the action that has taken place so far.

45 - The number of tackles made by Scotland lock Richie Gray - the most by any player yet to miss one. Richie's younger brother Jonny has only missed two of 51 tackles so far.

15 - Fly-halves Dan Biggar (Wales), Owen Farrell (England) and Bernard Foley (Australia) all landed 15 place kicks in succession during the pool stage, before each missing a 16th attempt.

389 - In addition to scoring in each of his four appearances, DTH van der Merwe has carried the ball for 389 metres, more than any other player.

11 - England may have been knocked out, but Anthony Watson has made at least three more breaks than any other player.

10 - Australian back row David Pocock unsurprisingly leads the way when it comes to turnovers, having made 10 thus far.

5 - Bryan Habana and Julian Savea are the tournament's top try-scorers with five apiece, while the former's team-mate Fourie du Preez tops the assist table with six.

60 - Scotland scrum-half Greig Laidlaw boasts more points than any other player, a total of 60 putting him two clear of impressive Japan full-back Ayumu Goromaru.

22 - The United States' opening try against Japan on Sunday, scored by Takudzwa Ngwenya, came after 22 phases of play - the most phases in the lead-up to a try at the World Cup so far.
