Australia head coach Michael Cheika will take no action against Quade Cooper for his foul-mouthed Twitter rant after the 34-9 Rugby Championship victory over Argentina on Saturday.
Fly-half Cooper came off the bench in Mendoza when Matt Toomua suffered concussion in the first half after Cheika opted to start with Bernard Foley, but was sin-binned for a high tackle after the interval.
The playmaker, who started the victory over South Africa the previous weekend, then hit the headlines for the wrong reasons when he posted an expletive-laden tweet in which he appeared to suggest his commitment had been questioned.
Cooper, who later deleted the tweet, expressed his disappointment with his social media outburst, but said "as footballers, we're still human beings. We've got feelings."
And although Cheika refused to condone the 27-year-old's actions, he ruled out taking the matter further.
"He cops it a bit when we get beat and he's copping it again," Cheika said. "I know we weren't perfect or anything but we had a win away from home in a difficult place to win, it probably just got the better of him.
"Obviously we can't have the language, that's a mistake. He's owned up to that.
"It's all about discipline and we're all trying to improve our discipline. It's not ideal but I think the way he's explained it, he's explained how he's felt about it. He's a human being as well.
"[There will be no further action] as far as I'm concerned. From my point of view as the coach of the team and the leader of the team... no. Straight up. We can make decisions amongst ourselves. People make mistakes. I've certainly made a few in my time. That's the way it is."
