Munster leapfrogged Glasgow Warriors at the top of the Pro12 table thanks to the 22-10 victory over their title rivals.

The hosts dominated the opening half at Irish Independent Park on Saturday, with tries from Jack O'Donoghue and Eusebio Guinazu, while Ian Keatley added a conversion to give Munster a 12-0 lead.

Glasgow mounted a comeback after the break with a penalty and converted try to cut the deficit to two points, but Keith Earls' 61st-minute try stretched Munster's advantage before CJ Stander went over to secure the win.

Ulster moved level with Glasgow in second after coming from behind to beat Scarlets 25-20, Ruan Pienaar scoring 15 points to lead his team to victory.

Neil Doak's side had trailed at the break 13-6, but three tries – two converted – in the second half denied Scarlets a rare away win and boosted Ulster's title hopes.

Cardiff Blues eased away from the foot of the table thanks to a 21-15 victory over Edinburgh Rugby, a first win in four games for the Welsh side.

Scrum-half Lloyd Williams opened the scoring with a well-taken solo effort and the 25-year-old helped dictate play as Cardiff ran in three tries in total to seal a narrow victory.

Having conceded 14 points in the first half, Edinburgh mounted a second-half comeback, but it was not enough as Rhys Patchell converted his own try just after the hour.

Meanwhile, Leinster needed a 78th-minute penalty from Jimmy Gopperth to earn them a 9-9 draw with Ospreys, the fly-half kicking all his side's point in a tight encounter.

At the bottom, Zebre's dismal season was given a rare boost with their third win of the campaign, the Italians beating Newport Gwent Dragons 23-17 in Parma.

That win cut the gap to Treviso to four points, their Italian rivals comprehensively beaten as Connacht ran in six second-half tries in their 53-5 win.
