Scotland captain Chris Cusiter and flanker John Barclay are expected to resume training on Wednesday (NZT) after sitting out Tuesday's session ahead of Sunday's Calcutta Cup clash with England.
Scrum-half Cusiter was confined to bed on Tuesday afternoon due to a viral complaint, while Glasgow team-mate Barclay was not risked after suffering a knee knock.
Scotland's players who featured for Edinburgh, Ospreys and Gloucester on Monday were excused training on Tuesday though a number asked permission to participate in tonight's drills.
Scotland team doctor James Robson reported Mike Blair (head knock), Phil Godman (knee), Nick De Luca and Roddy Grant (both dead legs) were nursing injuries from Edinburgh's Magners League win over the Ospreys on Monday.
Alasdair Strokosch (ankle) and Alasdair Dickinson (head knock) were also being monitored after they sustained injuries in Gloucester's match against Wasps.
Scotland head coach Andy Robinson will name his team for Sunday's Six Nations game against England on Wednesday.
