The news just keeps on getting better for Super Rugby champions the Queensland Reds with star forwards Beau Robinson and Radike Samo re-signing with the franchise on Tuesday.
The duo, who are in camp with the Wallabies ahead of Sunday's Test match against Samoa, committed their futures to the Reds for another two years, keeping them at the club until the end of 2013.
It caps a wonderful 12 months for Robinson, who started training with the Reds just looking for a chance, before going on to be an integral part of the 2011 side which won the title with an 18-13 victory over the Crusaders on Saturday night.
"It's a fairytale story and it means a lot to be part of what we've achieved – it's pretty special," Robinson said.
"We've got a useful squad and have been able to retain a lot of the boys again, so we have some interesting times ahead."
Samo, who was re-called to the Wallaby side for the first time in seven years this week, added: "Winning a Super Rugby Final is something you never forget and there are some exciting times ahead for the Reds."
"It was good to be part of this season and the boys are looking forward to playing together again next year."
