Mega-rich Toulon have added another big name to their roster with South African Bakkies Botha signing with the French club.
The uncompromising lock, who's made 72 appearances for the Springboks, will join the club after the 2011 World Cup on a three-year deal.
Botha joins English star Jonny Wilkinson and Australian Matt Giteau at the club, as Toulon build a squad they hope wil bring their first championship since 1992.
"I'm happy to be here. It's been a long time so everything is sorted out. We've been through all my medical stuff so I'm happy," Botha said.
"I think there's a lot of hard work still to be done ahead of the World Cup and then I'm heading to Toulon."
"It's a new challenge for me and my wife and kids. But I'm looking forward to it, I'm very excited."Botha served a nine-week ban for head-butting last season, but insisted there will be no change in his style of play.
"I think I know what I'm good at so I'm just going to stick with that," he said.
"That's what brought me here at this level. I'm just going to do what I did for the last 10 years."
"I've been around the block. This is my 10th year and I finished up with the Bulls. But it's just what I'm going to do, it's going to be the old, physical, hard-rucking Bakkies Botha."
Botha will join Giteau, Steffon Armitage and Willie Mason in donning the Toulon colours this season, with France centre Mathieu Bastareaud also linked with a move from Stade Francais.
