With only four new players in the Blues squad for 2012 coach Pat Lam was delighted with the continuity in his side.
The core of experience, headed by hooker Keven Mealamu, would be vital to the squad.
"The abundance of experience these guys have will be vital for the Under-20 players who are stepping up to the next level," Lam said.
"We are also looking forward to seeing the best from players such as Liaki Moli and Brad Mika, who suffered horrific injuries last year which ruled them out of the season."
Lam said the squad was 'pretty special'.
"To have in our side the three All Blacks nominated for the 2011 IRB player of the year, is not a bad way to start the campaign," Lam said.
The Blues squad is: Gareth Anscombe, Anthony Boric, Daniel Braid, Luke Braid, Charlie Faumuina, Michael Hobbs, Jerome Kaino, Chris Lowrey, Tevita Mailau, Pauliasi Manu, Alby Mathewson, Tom McCartney, Keven Mealamu, George Moala, Liaki Moli, Lachie Munro, Ma'a Nonu, Filo Paulo, David Raikuna, Rene Ranger, Peter Saili, Benson Stanley, Sherwin Stowers, Angus Ta'avao, Isaia Toeava, Piri Weepu, Ali Williams, Tony Woodcock, Rudi Wulf.
