What should Prince William do over Easter?

And what better escape is there than a live sporting event combined with a few colds ones, a pie dripping down the right paw and a sneaky quadrella on the last.

So with that in mind, here are a few suggestions to really get Prince William's Easter rockin'.

Rabbitohs v Bulldogs, ANZ Stadium

Prince William will feel right at home here, with England represented on both sides of the field. A concussed James Graham will remind William of his grandfather stumbling around at family do's, while the Burgess family challenge the Windsors for appearances in the gossip mags. And we'd love to see what William makes of Des Hasler.

Queen Elizabeth Stakes Day, Royal Randwick

The day might well be named in honour of his granny – and the venue carries the Royal moniker – but we'd rather William join the other young lagered-up blokes in suits, trying to pick up on the members' lawn before passing out in the debris. You know Harry would.

Swans v Fremantle, SCG

If only to see Buddy Franklin – a prince playing like a pauper while earning a king's ransom.

Waratahs v Bulls

William's better half Kate can relate to what the 'other' Tahs are going through. While Pippa (and the backside) steal the limelight in the Middleton household, it's all about Izzy Folau at the Waratahs. We offer no comment whatsoever on his backside.
