On Saturday it was Slovenia's Peter Prevc who became the first ever man to jump 250 metres, beating the previous record of 246.5m set in 2011 by Norway's Johan Remen Evensen.

But, quite astonishingly, Prevc's record didn't last more than 24 hours as on Sunday it was the turn of Norway's Anders Fannemel to be in the limelight as he managed to go 1.5m further, setting a new world record at 251.5m.
