Utah thought they had their second touchdown of the night, but instead the Oregon Ducks scooped up their mistake to tie the game, 7-7.

In the second quarter, Kaelin Clay thought he had crossed the goal line and dropped the ball, probably hoping to look nonchalant as the Utes went up on the No. 4 Ducks, 14-0.

However, Clay dropped the ball waaaaaaaaay before he actually crossed the goal line, resulting in a fumble and a mad scramble for the ball.

Oregon recovered, and ran it back the opposite way 99 yards for a touchdown of their own.

This isn't the first time Clay's bravado has got the better of him. When he returned a punt for a touchdown against Michigan in September, Clay struck the Heisman pose at the Big House, setting off message boards and angry Facebook commenters everywhere.

At this point, you'd think players would hold on to the ball until the referees ripped it from their hands.

Kyle Whittingham is going to have to hope Clay has learned his lesson before sending him back out onto the field.

Probably want to give him a minute, though:
