To get fans excited for Ronda Rousey's next title defense, the UFC created a trailer chronicling her rise to stardom, starting with an 11-year-old Rousey picking up judo and ending with her facing off with Holly Holm inside the Octagon.

The trailer was released on Ellen DeGeneres' Twitter page.

Rousey is a fourth-degree black belt in judo, winning gold medals at the Pan American Judo Championships in 2004 and '05 and the 2007 Pan American Games.

She won the bronze medal at the 2008 Olympics in Beijing and began her mixed martial arts career in 2010.

Rousey (12-0) defends her UFC women's bantamweight championship against Holly Holm (9-0) at the UFC 193 pay-per-view on 15 November.

The fight is expected to attract a crowd of more than 70,000 at Etihad Stadium in Melbourne.
