Ronda Rousey is one of the best fighters in the world. But how is she as a SportsCenter anchor? Not too bad.

The UFC women’s bantamweight champion became the first female athlete to be the guest co-host on Wednesday's edition (US time) of SportsCenter alongside Lindsay Czarniak.

Czarniak did most of the heavy lifting, handling the interviews with Joe Maddon and Clint Hurdle and the Tom Brady/Greg Hardy story.

Between each major story, Czarniak would switch over to Rousey to ask her a few questions about her childhood, her relationship with her mother and her upcoming fight against Holly Holm.

Basically, the show felt more like an hour-long Rousey interview with brief moments of news sprinkled in.

While she wasn't given much to work with, Rousey did keep things going with surprisingly good comedic timing.

She started off with a KO punch to Mike Wilbon and the Cubs.

She then brought Ken Jeong to tears since he spoiled "Game of Thrones" for her at the ESPY Awards. Because how dare he!

She tried (and failed) to teach Czarniak how to lock in an armbar. Poor Tim Kurkjian never stood a chance.

Finally we got to the real fun, as she and Barry Melrose went through the Top 10 fights in sports.

She brought in some decent insight, talking about how dropkicks don't work, hockey players' first move should be to throw off their opponents helmets and that baseball people are always angry.

Overall, Rousey gets a "B" for her work on the show. She wasn't asked to break down highlight packages or handle interviews, but her commanding presence helped her stay afloat during each segment.

She shouldn't quit her day job, but she managed to pull it off.
