On Wednesday, Business Insider released an article of the 50 most dominant athletes alive. Landing in the top spot was not LeBron James, Floyd Mayweather or Lionel Messi.

It was UFC women's bantamweight champion Ronda Rousey .

From Business Insider:

No athlete is the best in their sport by a wider margin than Rousey. Her two wins in the past year have lasted an average of 15 seconds. The UFC made her its first female fighter ever. In her five UFC fights, only one opponent has made it out of the first round without getting knocked out of submission. She's not just undefeated; she's effectively untouched.

Rounding out the top five: Usain Bolt, Cristiano Ronaldo, Serena Williams and LeBron James.

Two other combat sports athletes made the list as Floyd Mayweather, Jr. was No. 14 and former UFC light heavyweight champion Jon Jones at No. 18.

Rousey is 11-0 with all of her wins by stoppage. She will next step inside the octagon at UFC 190 on Aug. 1 when she battles Bethe Correia.
