Paralympic champion Alan Oliveira wants to see former rival Oscar Pistorius return to the track when he is released from prison.
Pistorius was sentenced to five years in jail four months ago for the culpable homicide of girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp - though his legal team expect him to be released and placed under house arrest after serving 10 months.
Oliveira beat Pistorius to Paralympic gold in the T43/44 200m at the 2012 Games, the pair subsequently becoming engaged in a dispute over the Brazilian's prosthetic legs.
Nevertheless, Olivieira believes the sport's most recognisable figure would provide a boost if he made a comeback to competition - though any return would likely have to wait until after his original jail sentence passes due to a ruling by the International Paralympic Committee.
"I wish he'd come back and we could run more times together," Oliveira told BBC Sport.
"I think it'd be a good competition to see the two of us together again, repeating the duel seen in London.
"Unfortunately, there was a fatality. I think that justice has been served and is being served in terms of everything that the courts have said.
"It's difficult for him to return and it would depend on how he is feeling, shaping up and of course his age, but I believe he could return and it would be great."
