Manny Pacquiao is pulling out all the stops ahead of May 2 showdown with Floyd Mayweather

Pacquiao has brought in former UFC lightweight fighter Dashon Johnson to help prepare him for Mayweather. "Pac-Man" brought Johnson into the fold about three weeks ago. Johnson does have a boxing background as he has a career record of 15-19-3, facing the likes of former WBC 154-pound champion Sergio Mora. Johnson described the hardest thing about sparring with Pacquiao.

"He's coming from different angles. He's honestly hard to predict," Johnson told ESNews. "It's going to be a tough fight for Floyd."

Johnson doesn't have the fighting style of Mayweather, but said he can mimic the style that Mayweather emplys.

“My style isn’t necessarily Mayweather’s in real life, but I can definitely emulate his style very well and not to mention I’m the exact same size as Mayweather as far as reach and height and size,” said the 5-foot-9 Johnson to RingTV.

Johnson used to be a big Mayweather fan, but is excited to help out Pacquiao in one of the biggest fights in the history of boxing.

"Honestly, it's a dream come true," Johnson said to ESNews. "He's trusted me with the biggest fight of his life, the biggest fight in boxing history."

Johnson was 0-2 in the UFC and was cut after losing to Godofredo Castro in September.
