Unified world heavyweight champion Wladimir Klitschko has agreed to face undefeated Briton Tyson Fury in Dusseldorf on October 24.
Klitschko will put his WBA, WBO, IBF and IBO titles on the line against Fury, who boasts an unblemished record from 24 professional contests with 18 knockouts.
The outspoken 26-year-old has regularly spoken of his desire to dethrone Klitschko and is confident in doing so, although the veteran Ukrainian will enter the bout as a strong favourite.
Klitschko, 39, outpointed American Bryant Jennings in April to record the 18th straight defence of his second heavyweight reign, leaving him behind only all-time greats Joe Louis and Larry Holmes in terms of consecutive title defences.
Fury became Klitschko's mandatory WBO challenger when he beat compatriot Dereck Chisora for a second time in November and purse bids were expected to decide the location of the fight before the respective camps - Klitschko's K2 Promotions and Hennessy Sports - came to an 11th-hour agreement.

Fury's trainer and uncle Peter Fury tweeted: "Massive thanks to our friend Mick Hennessy for getting this deal over the line & @Klitschko as well."
