Who said winning doesn't matter in JV games?

The Jackson (Massillon, Ohio) High School junior varsity football team put that nonsense to rest with an absurd game-winning touchdown against Akron East on Friday.

With the game tied 6-6 with four seconds to play, quarterback Jaret Pallotta dropped back for a deep pass, but was forced to scramble after facing heavy pressure from Akron East's defensive front. Just before being tackled Pallotta lofted a short pass to receiver Nick Shatrich.

Then, insanity ensued.

Shatrich ran back, turned and gained positive yards before fumbling while trying to lateral the ball to a teammate.

Fortunately for Shatrich, Kyle Ericcson recovered after three Akron East players failed to do so and ran into the end zone for the improbable score.

Just how the coach drew it up.
