That was the real question when Floyd Mayweather Jr. unveiled his new ride on Instagram, a Koenigsegg CCXR Trevita worth $6.6 million (AUD).

Koenigsegg made just two Trevita cars and Mayweather now owns one of them. Hypercars are in an elite classification, a step above top-tier exotic supercars in terms of performance and price. 

For Mayweather, who earned an estimated $800 million (AUD) in his victory over Manny Pacquiao, the money plunked down for the car is just loose change.
