Conor McGregor's Hollywood doppelgänger throws support behind Irishman

With just over a fortnight until McGregor takes on Jose Aldo at UFC 194 in a unification bout for the UFC featherweight belt, one Hollywood superstar has thrown his support behind the Irishman.

Funnily enough, the man feeling the McGregor love, could have been separated from him at birth.

Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam has revealed his adoration for The Notorious One, and that he recently used the Irishman as inspiration for a role he was playing.

When asked how long he would last in the octagon with his lookalike, the Hollywood star was possibly a little cockier than he should have been.

“I’d give myself maybe seven-and-a-half seconds before I get knocked out, but it would be a great seven-and-a-half seconds,” Hunnam told a TMZ reporter with tongue firmly in cheek.

“I feel like I could evade him for seven-and-a-half seconds, but he comes out quick.”

Hunnam will be in the crowd when McGregor steps in the octagon to take on Aldo, and will no doubt with arm-in-arm with the interim champ should he come up trumps on December 13 (AEDT).
