One of the most vocal Aussie Holm fans is the ultimate underdog, former Winter Olympic ice-skating gold medallist Steven Bradbury.
Bradbury, who was at similarly long odds as Holm ahead of claiming gold in the 1000m speed-skating final in the 2002 Winter Olympics, posted a short video to twitter today, saying Holm “might just pull off a Bradbury.”
“I know for certain that Aussies love an underdog victory,” he said.
“Ronda’s time at the top is about to come to an end.
“Let’s go Holly!”

The undefeated Rousey is the overwhelming favourite, paying $1.06 at Sportsbet while Holm – who is also hasn’t lost a match – is paying $9.30.
Rousey’s last three fights have lasted a combined 65 seconds and she’s only been taken past the first round once in 12 professional bouts.
