Sydney Sixers all-rounder Moises Henriques says his side are well equipped to deal with searing Perth temperatures forecast for Saturday's Big Bash League Final against the Scorchers as well as any heat the parochial WACA crowd sends their way.

The visitors can expect a hostile reception after Scorchers fans snapped up all available tickets in just 16 minutes on Wednesday morning, while the predicted 42 degree temperatures are also sure to test the Sydneysiders.

But Henriques believes the experience of playing with the NSW Blues in the Twenty20 Champions League earlier this year will help the Sixers' cause this weekend.

"We were in India earlier this year and it was pretty hot in Chennai," Henriques said at the SCG on Wednesday.

"Obviously we play a 5 o'clock Perth time so hopefully it'll be a little bit cooler by then, but even if it's not both teams have to play under the same weather."

"It's three hours worth of cricket so if we have to sweat it out for a little while I'm sure we can all cope with that."

Henriques added of the response his side can expect from the Scorchers faithful at The Furnace: "It should be fun, I guess when you're out there it's going to be so packed it's a little less personal because you can't hear all the individual sledges, you just hear this one loud noise so it's good."

"Very much looking forward to it, a packed house and it's very rare that we get to play in packed stadiums in Australia so to play in a final and to play in Perth, it's going to be hot and it's going to be good."

The Sixers held on for a thrilling win against the Scorchers at the SCG earlier this month.

While Henriques says the group can take confidence out of that performance, he insists the Sixers have yet to play to their full potential at any stage.

"We've won a lot of games now where we haven't really played all that well as a team and as a batting unit," he said.

"We've fielded really well and bowled really well so hopefully in the grand final we can show everyone what we're capable of and put that perfect game on the field."

Meanwhile, Henriques welcomed the return of overlooked Test paceman Mitchell Starc, suggesting some of the Scorchers batsman now fear the left-armer after he took three wickets in one over in the SCG clash.

"He sort of ripped out their top order there so there's probably a couple of guys that are hoping they don't have to face him, but he's bowling really well and he's obviously going to complement any bowling attack," he said.

"Obviously someone of Mitchell's stature now and the form that he's in and the way he's been bowling, absolutely it's a massive credit for us to have him back and opening the bowling for us."
