NSW bats first

NSW captain Simon Katich has won the toss and elected to bat despite overcast conditions in its Sheffield Shield clash against South Australia at the SCG.
Persistent light rain has delayed the start of play by half and hour, with the match now scheduled to start at 11.30.
Blues selectors have made one change to the side that defeated Tasmania in Hobart last week, with Katich coming into the line-up at the expense of Dominic Thornely.
Daniel Harris will captain the Redbacks in the absence of the injured Graham Manou (knee), with Tim Ludeman to fill in behind the stumps.
Jake Haberfield will carry the drinks for the visitors.
