Groningen pile on Willem misery

FC Groningen have compounded Willem II Tilburg's woes at the bottom of the Eredevisie with a 3-0 thrashing at Willem II Stadion on Friday.
Tilburg went pointless in their opening three games - conceding 11 goals and scoring just three - and Groningen followed the trend by putting three past the cellar-dwellers.
Groningen, unbeaten this season, continued to impress with another stylish performance.
The visitors took the lead after 37 minutes when Tom Hiariej found the back of the net.
The second half was a more spiteful contest with numerous yellow cards being dished out.
The game opened up as Willem II pushed for an equaliser, but the hosts were made to pay as Denmark international Thomas Enevoldsen added a second for Groningen after 64 minutes.
Fellow Dane Nicklas Pedersen put the game beyond doubt three minutes later with an assured finish to wrap up the three points and condemn Willem II to another defeat.
Groningen sit second on the Eredivisie table (with teams to play) after four games on eight points, while Willem remain last with no points.
