Where to follow?

Channel Ten has taken the reigns for the V8 Supercars season in 2015, with Matthew White and Mark Larkham coming across from Channel Seven.

The pair will be joined by former F1 driver Mark Webber for special comments throughout the duration of the coverage.

Ten's raceday coverage starts at 7am on Sunday and carries right throughout the day until the conclusion of the race and presentation ceremony.

Who is going to win?

The great thing about this race is there really are so many combinations capable of winning it – and banking the all-important 300 Championship points.

After an incredible season behind the wheel, it's no surprise that Holden pairing of Jamie Whincup and Paul Dumbrell are favourites to claim the Peter Brock trophy in 2015.

However, the experienced Holden duo of Lowndes and Richards may prove to be their biggest threat.

The challenge from Ford will come from Chaz Mostert and Cameron Waters while Mark Winterbottom and Steve Owen will also be thereabouts.

Lap record under threat

The famous circuit has been resurfaced, and that has prompted some drivers to predict they will go more than two seconds faster than last year.

Last year, Shane van Gisbergen claimed pole position with a lap time of 2:06.3267.

The lap record for the race belongs to Craig Lowndes who clocked 2:06.801 in 2010.
