NBC Sports reports Busch signed NASCAR’s terms and conditions for consideration of reinstatement after being suspended indefinitely Feb. 20.

Busch was suspended after Kent County (Del.) Family Court Commissioner ruled the driver committed an act of domestic violence against ex-girlfriend Patricia Driscoll in September. The details of the terms were not specified in the report.

“There’s a team in place here, several members of our executive team who work on what we think our expectations are, and then we go outside to experts in the particular area,’’ NASCAR Integrated Marketing Communications vice president David Higdon told NBC. “We get recommendations on people who should be assigned to work with us on it. Then we provide that information to the driver and hope and expect that they will abide by those rules.’’

Busch will work with an expert assigned to him who will provide an assessment to NASCAR.

Regan Smith is driving Busch’s Sprint Cup car in his absence.
