Ferrari planning for 2015

The 16-time constructors' champions have failed to win a single race so far and look set to complete a winless season for the first time since 1993.

Ferrari sit 292 points adrift of leading constructor Mercedes after 13 races, while Fernando Alonso - the team's best-placed driver - is 117 points off frontrunner Nico Rosberg.

And, with the season set to arrive in Singapore this weekend, engineering director Pat Fry says the Italian outfit have already started thinking about next year.

"At this stage of the season, obviously the factory focus is moving off this year's car and onto next year's car," he said. "There's still quite a lot we can actually learn in track testing, but we are continuing to bring some specific test pieces for next year.

"Some developments and other developments from this car - all of which will help our understanding for this year and obviously carry forward to the next."

Ferrari suffered a dismal weekend at their home Grand Prix at Monza last time out, with Alonso forced to retire with engine trouble and Kimi Raikkonen finishing down in ninth.

"Monza was a tough weekend for us all, but we sort of need to regroup and keep on pushing," added Fry. "We treat every track as they come but with quite a different set of challenges.

"We just need to keep on concentrating and pushing as hard as we can and get the best out of the package we've got."
