Crutchlow, 28, has endured a tough start to life at Ducati, finishing just four of nine races this season due to technical problems, accidents and a hand injury.

Team-mate Andrea Dovizioso renewed his contract for another two years on Saturday and Ciabatti said Crutchlow would be alongside the Italian in 2015.

The duo had both reportedly been targeted by Suzuki.

"Cal has a contract with us for next season and he will continue in the 'official' team next year," Ciabatti told reporters.

The news was a blow to Andrea Iannone's hopes of graduating from Pramac to the official team, but Ciabatti said his team were keen to keep the 24-year-old.

"Iannone has done even better than we expected and we want him to stay with us," he said.

"We want to offer him better technical support and next week we should be able to decide how to do it, what the contract will be and the exact technical package."
