Caterham chief calls revenue to be shared

Marussia this week followed Caterham into administration, meaning only 18 cars will start on the grid in Sunday's United States Grand Prix.

Former FIA president Max Mosley warned the sport could lose more teams as F1 is no longer "a fair competition".

And Gascoyne believes changes need to be made with regards to how the wealth is distributed.

"We came in to Formula 1 when there was going to be a budget cap and a very severe one," he told Perform.

"I think the problem that I find with Formula 1 is, there is enough money in the sport, there is a lot of money coming in to the sport, a lot of money being made by certain people, rights holders and all this sort of thing.

"But it is isn't going to the teams."
